When my dear friend Stephanie got married, I wanted to represent the interweaving of three lives - Stephanie, her husband, and her son.  So I used three lilies, a braided garland of chocolate fondant, and used sugar glass as a background for their monogram (traced from her own artwork with food coloring).

Squares and circles combine with satin ribbon and fresh flowers for an elegant look.

Separate cake stands make it easy to serve the several different flavors of cake served here, complemented with various shades of champagne.  The setting is Coleman Place in downtown Asheville. 

Leaves and Berries

The white chocolate grape leaves are dusted in cocoa powder to give an elegant fall look.

Elegantly colored icing shows off the couple's monogram and light-hearted design.
